Eveon supplies private and business customers within a 250 km radius of its European locations and within 330 km of its new US location with new and used shipping and storage containers in the standard sizes customary in the industry. Eveon's business model aims to actively reduce the CO2 emissions of the container industry: Empty containers are sold and used in the region where they are unloaded, thereby avoiding CO2-intensive shipments of empty containers to ports worldwide. In addition, Eveon compensates for the CO2 emissions generated when delivering containers to customers by supporting environmental projects.
As a disruptor in the container market, Eveon is the first and only provider worldwide to enable its customers to purchase ISO shipping containers completely digitally. On the startup's website, all prices for containers are listed in a transparent way; customers can purchase containers directly in the online shop and have them delivered to their location. This makes buying containers as easy as buying a pair of shoes on the internet. Eveon is thus digitising a previously non-transparent market that until recently still functioned as it did in the 1990s. To the great disadvantage of customers, prices could only be viewed on request.
"We are delighted that our business continues to grow and that our offer is now also available in the USA. In Germany, we had a sensational start after the launch in Hamburg last year and were able to offer our containers at another five locations shortly after. Since April this year, our products have also been available in Austria. In the coming months, further locations will be added in the USA and Europe. Within the next two years, Eveon aims to be available globally," says Aad Storm, CEO and founder of Eveon Containers.
The Dutch startup was founded in 2020 by the former Vice President and CDO of CARU Containers, Aad Storm. With Hamburg, Stuttgart, Munich, Bremen, Bremerhaven, Nuremberg and Berlin, the company already has seven locations in Germany and two in Austria with Vienna and Linz. Eveon's goal is to further accelerate the expansion and to extend the business to other countries in the near future.
