Yearly, 3 to 6 million new shipping containers are produced. Roughly 13-18 % of newly produced shipping containers are not used for shipping. Instead they are mainly used for storage purposes on land. Which we think is a shame, because producing new containers has a high environmental impact and uses finite resources. Storage is a purpose that a used container can fulfill just as good as a new one. That’s why Eveon decided to focus on giving used containers a second chance, reducing the need for newly produced shipping containers.
At Eveon, our main job is helping our customers seamlessly order their containers. But we think it’s important to do this in a sustainable way, so we’ve set up these sustainability principles we’d like to share with you.
Containers are extremely strong. They have to be. Imagine being in the Sahara Desert one day, then traveling to the arctic circle in a month. They need to be tough. We cherish this toughness and believe shipping containers should have a second life after their life with shipping companies. We’re here to help our customers give containers a second life.
Our containers take the train rather than a truck. We take the train rather than the plane. When we must use planes or trucks, we do it consciously and minimally. We can't wait for electric trucks to deliver our containers! We realize our business has an impact on the environment, it is our goal to minimize this impact.
We minimize our emissions, but they’re not zero. One important way we offset our emissions is by including delivery of our containers to our customers.
On a yearly basis, we publish our environmental performance. We measure what counts, which is why we measure our environmental performance. We publish these results because we think accountability is important.
We want our business to flourish. We want our partners, team, our customers, and the world around us to flourish too. This is at the core of what we do every day. To work this mentality out into concrete action, we’re on path to become part of the global B Corp community.
Whether it is supporting students with an internship or supporting a like-minded entrepreneur, we thrive on collaboration. Our dream is to have a network of container changers around us.
I purchased 15 containers last year - from a different company. Was not a good experience - service / correspondence / container quality - all poor. This was my first experience with EVEON. What a difference. Everything- absolutely everything was perfect. Order ease / correspondence / service / container quality / delivery professionalism. I could not be more satisfied. I bought 4 more with EVEON, wish I could buy more. And they really cared about picking the best containers each trip for me. Each delivery walking through the reason and pros and cons of this particular container. These guys have the container business down. Thanks much.

The container arrived earlier than expected but that was great! The person delivering the container called the Friday before to communicate the arrival date and he communicated with me as he left the port, 2 hours out, and thirty minutes. He was unable to get the container in my driveway but I was prepared for that and I moved the container and set it up. Now, I am ready to start the process of getting it ready to paint. I paid through PayPal, which has purchase protection, although no worries this company can be trusted.

Bought a 40 ft HQ container from Eveon but due to the small curve driveway, the driver was unable to deliver. Shabina from customer service is amazing! she spoke to the manager and was able to get us two 20 ft for reasonable additional charged as a replacement. The containers were in excellent condition and delivery on time. Rodney, the driver is also very experienced and accommodating. Thank you!!!
