    Eveon Containers Inc (Charleston, SC) is part of Eveon Containers BV, an international company in the used shipping container industry. Eveon gives a second life to used shipping containers by selling or renting them as a storage solution for primarily businesses. We're transitioning from startup to scale-up, with teams in Charleston and Rotterdam, The Netherlands. We operate with a 'straight and forward' philosophy—direct communication, fast decisions, no corporate BS. Our Charleston office houses customer care & inbound sales, trucking procurement, and our marketing team. Our Rotterdam office focuses on finance, IT development, data, and online paid media advertising. ## The Role You'll respond to calls, emails, and chats generated by our marketing campaigns—these are warm leads from people actively interested in containers, not cold calling. Your primary focus is closing sales, while also providing excellent service that keeps customers coming back. Approximately 70% of your calls will be sales opportunities, while 30% will be customer service inquiries (order status, delivery questions, troubleshooting). When you can't resolve an issue, you'll escalate to the Assistant Supervisor. You'll work in HubSpot and Aircall to manage customer interactions and track sales progress. This role reports to the Head of Inbound Sales & Customer Care and works closely with your team members and the Assistant Supervisor. ## What You'll Do ### Inbound Sales - Answer inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries from potential customers - Qualify leads and understand customer needs to recommend the right container solution - Present product features, benefits, and pricing clearly and persuasively - Guide customers through the purchase process from inquiry to order completion - Close sales by addressing customer concerns and objections - Make outbound follow-up calls to warm leads who didn't purchase on first contact (not cold calling) - Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals - Meet individual sales targets and contribute to team goals - Document all customer interactions and sales progress in HubSpot ### Customer Service - Handle customer service inquiries about orders, deliveries, and account questions - Resolve issues quickly when possible, escalate complex issues to Assistant Supervisor - Collect complaint information and escalate to Trucking Network & Operations Manager for resolution - Respond professionally to customer concerns and maintain positive relationships - Ensure customers receive accurate information and timely follow-up ### Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Work with team members, marketing, and customer service to improve customer experience - Participate in training sessions to improve sales and service skills - Provide feedback on common customer questions or concerns - Stay current on product knowledge and company policies ## What We're Looking For - 2-3 years of experience in customer service, sales, or inside sales - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Persuasive and comfortable closing sales over the phone - Active listening skills—you understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions - Problem-solving ability and resourcefulness in addressing customer concerns - Comfort with phone-based communication and ability to build rapport quickly - Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and willingness to learn new tools - Understanding of sales process from lead qualification to closing - Customer-focused mindset with commitment to providing excellent service - Self-starter mentality—you see what needs to be done and do it - Thrives in a direct communication culture where feedback is immediate and honest - Comfortable with metrics and working toward sales and service goals - Adaptable and energized by the pace of a growing company - Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or B2B environments is a plus ## What We Offer - Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, Charleston, SC, 2 days remote) - 25 days PTO - Comprehensive benefits package - A team culture built on direct communication and psychological safety - Training and coaching to develop your sales and customer service skills - Clear performance metrics and regular feedback - Room to grow your skills and impact as we scale **Pay:** From $25 per hour **Expected hours:** 40 per week [Apply on Indeed](https://www.indeed.com/job/sales-and-customer-care-agent-a724d21ac01626ea)
