Question 1

What is the delivery lead time?

Accepted Answer

The average delivery window is 3-5 business days from the moment the order has been placed and and the payment is received by our bank.

Question 2

What is a Cargo Worthy (CW) container?

Accepted Answer

A Cargo Worthy (CW) container is inspected and repaired to meet the rigorous demands of transporting heavy loads, both inland and overseas. These containers are structurally sound, with solid floors that are free from holes and delamination, making them ideal for businesses requiring frequent loading and unloading with equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. If you need a container for transporting goods safely, a CW container is the best choice.

Question 3

How do Cargo Worthy (CW) containers compare to Wind and Watertight (WWT) containers?

Accepted Answer

Cargo Worthy (CW) containers are designed for transportation, including inland and overseas, and are maintained to handle the stresses of being lifted, stacked, and transported under load. They have higher structural integrity and stricter repair standards compared to Wind and Watertight (WWT) containers, which are primarily intended for static storage and limited inland transport. If you need a container that can be transported by various methods, a CW container is the better option, while WWT containers are more economical for long-term storage.

Question 4

Can I choose the color of my shipping container?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose the color of a used container.

Used containers are stored in large, packed depots and high stacks. These stacks are built up of the same type of container and with different kinds of colors. When your container is taken from the stack, it will be the first one available.

Question 5

What is the flooring in a Cargo Worthy shipping container?

Accepted Answer

The container floors are constructed with marine-grade plywood, ensuring durability and moisture resistance. The floors feature steel cross members, wooden joists, and treated plywood sheets. Our Cargo Worthy containers have solid floors that are free from holes and delamination, making them an excellent choice for businesses requiring regular loading and unloading with equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.

Question 6

Do Eveon’s Cargo Worthy containers come with CSC certification?

Accepted Answer

No, our Cargo Worthy containers do not come with CSC certification. The containers meet the Cargo Worthy standards and are repaired following global regulatory guidelines. This means CW containers are capable of passing the CSC certification process. However, CSC certification is not provided at the time of purchase. To have your container certified, please contact a local third-party marine surveyor.
